Commissions CLOSED (UPDATE)

Journal Entry: Wed Nov 11, 2009, 10:03 PM

Commissions are currently closed, but hopefully will be back up sometime... I'm not quite sure when. It depends on my workload. :/ However, the site is back up!! :bounce: I'm sorry for anybody who wanted one as a holiday gift (there's always birthdays!). I'm using this time to focus on university and work on original designs. Thank you to everybody for the wonderful comments!!

Also, I've started offering Rabbit Skin Carrying Pouches with drinking horn orders!!! See the webstore for details. [link]

I'll post here as soon as commissions are back open, in case you're wondering where to stay updated.

Off to class!!!

EDIT: I'm broke and trying to sell the stuff I can bear to part with. (Such a pack rat!)
Right now it's a few electronics and miscellaneous other things, including my doe skull. View here here: [link]

Recently my art has taken a turn for the tangible, as all the carving shows. It's a great feeling holding a completed work, reflecting on the care put in it and relishing the knowledge that it is both beautiful and functional.

My drinking horns may not be as ornate as some, as I love the clean look they offer without distraction. Each one is unique and has an important lesson behind it, be it craftsmanship, or spiritual. Every piece is carved with chisels because the finish is that much more satisfying.

I love working with almost all mediums I can get my hands on. This sometimes includes found objects and natural materials such as wood, stone, or naturally gathered bones and feathers. My heritage occasionally incorporates itself into my work, and I am proud of where I come from.
A special thank you to those who support me, because this gallery wouldn't be possible if you didn't somehow support (encourage!) my crazy ideas.

Thank you for the favs. I'm excited to see your drinking horns. They are beautiful. My husband is Asatru and not only made his own but has a very popular little side item he makes that we can't keep enough available of: Honey Mead. Mmmmm. Best damn stuff in the whole world.

What do you call a dog with no legs? Who cares.. He's still not coming.

You can't trust a Satanist. They get points for screwing you over.
