Custom commission for a best man's gift.

This is a large horn at about 20" long and holding about 20 oz of water.

Runes were carved in to the horn then filled with a custom color of ink and finished with removable leather strap and leather grip. Stand shown is a custom piece by a blacksmith friend wrapped with matching leather.

Please download if you wish to overload your retinas with detail.

Just exquisite, and beautifully photographed too. How easy is it to work/carve on horn? I've never used it so have no idea what it's like as a material (have tended to be a bit of a clay girl myself :)), but am totally fascinated by this. Am off to check out your other pieces :)
